The Farmhouse

So the house chose us…18 years ago it grabbed The Husband’s attention and last IMG_8988summer it stole my heart. Let me tell you, it HAD to steal my heart to get me to sell the lovely arts and crafts home we had near Clear Lake.

She was built in 1866 according to the records we have. She is significantly smaller than our last house…..hence the stacks of boxes filling the garage, basement and quonset which I have yet to sort through. IMG_8883That isn’t such a bad thing, though. It makes it absolutely necessary to pare down, prioritize, organize and SIMPLIFY!
