Hi! My name is Cherie and this blog grows out of my new love affair with the 148 yr old farmsite that we adopted last fall. A real God thing, let me tell you. I’ll fill you in on the details some other time.

My husband is a physics teacher and me?? I’ve been a bank teller, a substitute librarian, and a customer service manager at the local “Stuff-Mart.” I’ve raised kids, corrected science papers, and been a wife, mom, grandma, daughter and sister. I have 2 Etsy shops, one that features vintage inspired, handmade baby clothing and the another that is filled with pieces of mid century items sure to remind you of your grandmother’s house. There’s never enough time in a day or days in a week to spend on all the things I would love to make and do. When people tell me that they get bored, I just DON’T understand it!

So here begins our adventure…learning everything we can about this lovely family homestead…caring for it…restoring the gardens and outbuildings…and taking joy in the quiet beauty of the land and the life that it supports.
